I wear two hats here—business owner and dedicated potter. Our mission is to provide fellow clay artists with the best tools and supplies, inspired by our own experiences at the wheel, clothes speckled with clay, loving - mostly* - every messy minute of it. *Let's be honest, clay can be frustrating sometimes.*
My pottery journey is still in its early chapters, but it's already taught me so much. I've learned that working with clay is a humbling experience. It teaches you patience, perseverance, and the beauty of imperfection. Each piece I create is a story of trying, failing, and trying again - a journey that I find immensely rewarding.
One of my greatest joys is creating pieces that my friends and family use in their everyday lives. There's something special about sipping coffee from a mug you've made or serving a meal in a bowl you've crafted with your own hands.
This passion led me to start Modernpotters. I wanted to create a space where potters of all levels could find the tools and inspiration they need to pursue their craft. As a potter myself, I understand the excitement of finding that perfect tool or that game-changing glaze. Now, my mission is to bring that same thrill to potters everywhere.
